Luca Pezzini (58) has been the Secretary General of the European Lift Association – ELA and the European Elevator Association – EEA since 2019.
His previous work experience includes the European Commission and responsibility for institutional relations in multinational companies and in the main Italian association representing large companies.
He was born in a family of entrepreneurs and has gained extensive experience in liaison activities with European and international institutional/political representations.
Lidia Godlewska-Carmona has been working on EU policies in the fields of single market, industry and trade for the past sixteen years.
Since February 2023, she has been Deputy Head of Unit responsible for engineering industries at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW). Before that, she advised a director in charge of EU internal market legislation and policy supporting competitiveness of several industrial sectors: engineering, construction, energy-intensive, raw materials and mobility (automotive, maritime and rail), as well as circular economy and standardisation policy.
Lidia’s professional experiences, gathered at the European Commission since 2013, DG TRADE and DG GROW, encompass i.a. EU raw materials policy coordination, EU dialogues with third countries and international organisations, and tariff and non-tariff trade negotiations.
Before joining the European Commission, Lidia was a senior expert-coordinator for multilateral and EU free trade agreements and the EU Council’s Trade Policy Committee in the Polish Ministry of Economy. She supported the Polish Presidency of the EU Council in the second half of 2011.
Lidia holds diplomas of master and doctoral studies in the field of economics.
Mr. Massimo Bezzi is the President and Treasurer of EFESME, which he also represents in the SBS – Small Business Standards Board of Directors and General Assembly. Actively involved in EFESME since its beginnings, he was one of the founding members in 2005, and served as vice-president for ten years, between 2008 and 2018.
Also the Chairman of ICM Lift Components, an Italian lift SMEs, Mr. Bezzi is at the forefront of the national, European and international scene as a member of the Board of Directors of ANACAM and of Elevator World Inc.
Marcin Dawidowicz – monument expert, graduate of the field of Protection of Cultural Property, specializing in conservation, as part of the Inter-faculty Individual Humanities Studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Additionally, he completed postgraduate studies in the protection of cultural heritage (historical city) at the Warsaw University of Technology and was a student of the Academy of Heritage of the International Cultural Center in Krakow.
Since 2008, he has been professionally associated with institutions dealing with the protection of monuments, including: in the years 2012-2018, chief specialist of the Department of Expertise and Conservation Analyzes of the National Heritage Institute, 2018-2022 head of the Department of the Register and Documentation of Monuments of the Provincial Office for the Protection of Monuments in Warsaw, 2023-2024 head of the reactivated Field Branch – Warsaw of the National Heritage Institute.
His professional interests focus on the theory and practice of monument valuation, the history of the organization of monument protection services in Poland, and legal protection of the heritage of post-war modernism. Moreover, it actively cooperates with social organizations and social guardians of monuments. Author of numerous expert opinions and conservation analyzes on monuments in Warsaw and Masovia, publications in the field of art history and monument protection, scholarship holder of the capital city of Warsaw. Warsaw in the field of protection of monuments (2013), co-author of the national Report on the state of preservation of immovable monuments (2017), Deputy Chairman of the Team for Contemporary Cultural Properties of the NID (2023).
She is a charismatic expert in the field of elevator technology, specializing in innovative solutions for existing multi-family buildings. With extensive experience in the modernization industry and deep technical knowledge, she passionately presents modern elevators, emphasizing their energy efficiency, advanced safety systems, and aesthetic design. She effectively encourages investment in modern infrastructure. I am available to assist you during the trade show.

A graduate of the Management Faculty and the Law Faculty at the University of Warsaw. Expert in business transformations across various industries, including medical devices, healthcare IT and elevators & escalators. Previously held leadership positions in various divisions of the Agfa Group, working in different countries, successfully leading business transformations and restructurings. Member of the supervisory board of the biotechnology company Scope Fluidics, listed on the Main Market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
An expert with over 20 years of experience in team and project management. An MBA graduate from the University of Economics in Wrocław, specializing in process improvement. He joined Orona in Poland in 2015 as the Operations Director of the company in Wrocław and has since been actively involved in the development of Orona, the consolidation of processes, and the implementation of supporting tools in the company’s offices. He is currently serving as the Director of Western Poland. Privately, he is passionate about the practical application of technology and actively supports local community initiatives.
Master of Science in Architecture and Engineering, graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Environmental Engineering at the Lodz University of Technology, and a graduate of the BIM Manager postgraduate studies at the WSB University in Poznań. Warsaw Ambassador for the BIM Association. Holder of the BIM Coordinator Certificate issued by the European BIM Certification Center – ECC BIM. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, he currently works as a BIM Manager at Swissroc Building Intelligence, responsible for implementing and coordinating the use of BIM methodology in the design process in accordance with ISO standards at all stages of the investment process. He also serves as a lecturer in postgraduate BIM studies at Merito University in Poznań and Warsaw, as well as at AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. He is an assistant in a research group at AGH University, focusing on BIM methodology in railway infrastructure.

Surveyor and graduate of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, specializing in geodesy and geoinformatics. From the beginning of his professional career, he has been associated with BIM technology. He is an enthusiast and specialist in openBIM and the implementation of the IFC format. He specializes in non-invasive above-ground measurement methods (laser scanning, robotic total stations) and underground measurement methods (ground-penetrating radar, radio detection). He is a university lecturer and an expert with the ECCBIM Foundation, which supports clients in implementing projects involving digital construction.
A graduate of the Faculty of Working Machines and Vehicles at the Warsaw University of Technology and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Precision Mechanics and the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. In the years 1970–1989, designer and head of design workshops in factories and research and development centers of the machinery industry. He led a team that constructed and then launched the production of the first hydraulic cranes, composed of domestic components. Two of them, put into operation in July 1989 in the Polonia House in Pułtusk, are still in operation today. In the years 1989–1997 he held managerial positions in crane industry companies, and from 1998 to 2014 he was the president of the Sursum company he founded. The company’s achievements include, among others: many lifts in historic buildings. Author of dozens of publications, numerous technical opinions and expert opinions.
Conservator-historical expert, doctor of engineering and technology. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń with a master’s degree in the protection of cultural property, specializing in conservation. Her doctoral dissertation, defended in 2022 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Transport of the Poznań University of Technology, concerned historical lifting devices as a problem of conservation of monuments of engineering art. She worked as a specialist for the protection of immovable monuments at the Office of the Municipal Conservator of Monuments in Poznań. In the years 2020-2023, she carried out a research project on the history of development of lifting equipment technology in Poland, financed by the National Science Center [No. UMO-2019/33/N/HS3/01662].
Product Manager with many years of experience in managing product portfolios and implementing new solutions in EU markets. A graduate of Poznań University of Technology and the Warsaw School of Economics. Associated with Schindler since 2022, where he is responsible for product management and development in the area of passenger elevators.
Tomasz Rusztejko is an expert in selecting lifting equipment for the most complex projects. As a Specialist in Architect Collaboration, he supports the implementation of innovative solutions daily, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency. Additionally, he serves as an internal trainer at OTIS, sharing his knowledge and experience with the team. Tomasz has been involved in the lifting industry since 2005.
Since 2015, I have been involved in the technical-services sector, focusing on implementing innovative solutions at OTIS across Poland. I collaborate with service, installation, and sales departments nationwide, which allows me to effectively build relationships and maintain the highest standards of customer service. My experience in managing complex projects contributes to increased operational efficiency and the development of strategic initiatives within the company. I have been in the lifting industry since 2020.
Katarzyna Rzehak works at the Integration Foundation in the Integration LAB department, where she focuses on universal design. An art historian, design expert, researcher of Polish design, lecturer, and curator of exhibitions and industrial design competitions. Co-author of the publication “Guide. How to Build a Lift” prepared by the Friends of Integration Association and the National Economy Bank. Graduate of art history from Jagiellonian University and a recipient of the Joseph Conrad Scholarship, during which she studied at the Museum and Gallery Management department at City University of London.
From 2010 to 2021, she served as the creative director of the Institute of Industrial Design in Warsaw. She teaches the history of design at the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology, the Polish-Japanese School of Computer Techniques, and the design department of the Bydgoszcz University of Technology.

Expert in architectural accessibility for individuals with limited mobility and the employment of persons with disabilities (PWD), Director of Business Development at the Integration Foundation. Graduate of Rehabilitation Pedagogy at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. Since 2016, actively implementing the Certification “Barrier-Free Facility” in the Polish commercial real estate market. Volunteer and event organizer for PWD and youth. Has implemented projects in the area of professional activation carried out by PSONI and the Friends of Integration Association, led a team of job coaches supporting the employment of individuals with intellectual disabilities, and conducted training on etiquette towards PWD, employment of PWD, human rights, and diversity management.
Anna Drzewiecka is an experienced architect/designer with extensive experience in design studios and approximately seven years of work experience in the public sector. She worked in the Department of Architecture for the City of Warsaw, both in the Urban Planning and Architecture divisions. At the Integration Foundation, she serves as an accessibility expert/auditor, focusing on analyzing buildings and projects in the field of universal design and ensuring accessibility for people with special needs. She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. She later completed a 3-year part-time bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, obtaining a bachelor’s degree, followed by a 2-year master’s program in the same field, earning a Master of Arts degree. Anna Drzewiecka also has international professional experience, having worked in two design offices abroad.
A graduate of the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. For 2.5 years, I have been associated with the elevator industry through Schindler Polska. Currently, I serve as a Portfolio Manager.
Involved in the elevator industry since 2018, when he began working in marketing and communications at KONE. He holds a master’s degree in political science as well as diplomas in international business, marketing, and project management. For most of his professional career, he has been engaged in the implementation of large investment projects of significant social importance. He is currently supporting the establishment of the Elevator Museum Warsaw – a modern, interactive, and the first elevator museum in Poland, set to open in 2025.
An expert in modernization projects, involved in the elevator industry since 2009. He currently serves as a sales manager at TK Elevator and has been family-connected to Poland and Warsaw for 8 years. He holds a degree in business administration and mechanical engineering, giving him a broad perspective on both project management and their technical aspects. He is the originator and founder of the Elevator Museum Warsaw – the world’s first elevator museum, which, in addition to the historical and technological perspective, will also showcase the broader impact of elevators on culture and society.
