The Accessibility Island at LiftExpo Poland 2024

 

Fundation of Integration cordially invites you to visit the Accessibility Island (October 2 and 3) during the LiftExpo Poland fair. This unique space offers the opportunity to experience firsthand the challenges that people with various disabilities face every day.

What can you find at the Accessibility Island?

  • test the accessibility of the space and try your hand at daily tasks from the perspective of a wheelchair user
  • see what the world looks like through the eyes of people with various vision issues, such as cataracts, glaucoma, or retinopathy
  • experience how challenging simple tasks can be for individuals suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Discover how tremors and muscle stiffness affect daily life
  • check how perception and motor coordination change in different situations involving neurological disorders

The Accessibility Island is an excellent opportunity to better understand the needs of people with disabilities and to learn how we can create a more accessible environment for everyone.
